Something interesting is that the author of the article, Nicholas Pileggi, later went on to do books that Goodfellas and Casino were based on

So funny to see a pre-Netflix reference to time "on line" watching a movie.

Yeah. Members of the Colombo organized crime family can now sit in the comfort of their own back-rooms and press play. The only difference is the prescense of a demented old consigliere screaming about passenger pidgeons. Times change.

Garibaldi's troops got a brief scene in "The Leopard". I'm sure that there's more than one Italian movie featuring Garibaldi.
